On-Premises Search
Lookeen Server brings one central search across all of your organization's emails and documents into your own data center – connected to Active Directory and with exactly the permissions that already apply.
How it works
One index for every source
File servers and network drives, Exchange Server (including public folders), Exchange Online and Microsoft 365, and PST archives – in more than 300 file formats.
Permission-aware results
Lookeen stores the actual access rights of every item and filters every search by them. Nobody finds more than they could already open – shared mailboxes included.
Active Directory and single sign-on
Users and groups are regularly synced with Active Directory. Sign-in via NTLM/Kerberos; people who leave the organization also lose access to Lookeen.
Search where you work
In the browser with no installation, with the Lookeen client, or right inside Outlook. Results open in the preview with search terms highlighted.
Operation in your hands

- Encrypted transport: HTTPS through a web server such as IIS acting as a reverse proxy.
- Administrator role: A dedicated admin interface for sources, users, delegations, OCR and AI.
- Central rollout: The Lookeen client can be deployed via Group Policy – in Citrix, VMware and terminal server environments too.
