AI with Local Models
Lookeen AI summarizes emails and documents, reviews them and drafts replies – with language models running in your own infrastructure. Your content never leaves your network.
What Lookeen AI does
Summarize
Reduce long email threads and documents to their key points.
Find issues
Check documents for inconsistencies and possible errors before they go out.
Draft replies
Prepare replies to emails – also combined with a summary or review.
Local instead of cloud
Models in your infrastructure
Lookeen AI works with locally hosted language models. Requests go from Lookeen Server straight to your model – not to an outside provider, and not to Lookeen.
Only the selected document
Every AI action applies to exactly the document or email a user selects in the search results. There are no autonomous processes running in the background.
No training on your data
Lookeen doesn't train models and never uses customer data to improve them.
Cloud models optional
If you prefer, you can connect a cloud model with your own API key instead. Your administrator decides.
Under your administrators' control
- Off by default: Lookeen AI is disabled in Lookeen Server until an administrator turns it on – and can be turned off again for everyone at any time.
- Define the actions: Administrators decide which AI actions are available and can add, edit, reorder or remove them.
- Protect the templates: A configurable minimum role governs who may edit the underlying prompts.
- A draft, not a decision: AI output is a draft to be reviewed before it's used.
